Hi folx,
one of our customers managed to get a ^M (char 13) appended to the submitted IP Address. Poorly I can not reproduce this by my self and the customer is uncooperative :-/

The ^M causes bind to reject the dynamic zone.

I made the following workaround. Not very clean or classy but seems to work (so far).

$ diff gdipinet.pl.old gdipinet.pl
136a137,140
> # fh, Mon Aug 4 14:00:31 CEST 2003
> # Fix for user sending ^M after IP
> ($clientip) = ($clientip =~ /(.*[0-9]).*/ );
