#19 postscript and AXIS improvements

Attached is a patch for postscript improvements, relative to the CVS version downloaded May 31, 2009. Namely, the keywords for device: /color, xsize, and ysize work, and the default orientation is portrait, as in IDL. Also, AXIS has been improved to behave more like IDL (but still not perfect due to plplot bug).

Also included in plotting.cpp.patch are the fixes mentioned in thread 2786710.

    Hi, so,
I would like to use the /color in the device, is this for that?
Does this work? Has anybody tested it?

I am very new at this, so where do I have to save the patch so that this works???

I've never applied a patch to a code before (I'm also new at this development stuff), but I believe the command is "patch". Type in "man patch" at the terminal, or google it and you'll find how to use it. each of the files that need to be patched are in the src directory of GDL. after patching the files, compile again. You probably need to do this on the CVS version in order for everything to compile correctly. Try it and tell me if it works. These additions/changes make my plots look very nice in postscript.

Sorry, forgot to login. That last comment, and this one is by me (cokhavim).

Ignore these patches. I have made new ones with more improvements, and they will be posted separately.
