I have just installed GDL(09 on my Linux(Debian 2.6.15) box. I try to run the AppleMan routine GDL returned:
Procedure not found: LOADCT
I am not sure what to make of it. Installation went ok, what am I missing here?
You have to install the library files which are
written in GDL (IDL). These .pro files are
in the src/pro subdirectory of the original
tarball. Put them somewhere and set !PATH to
include this directory.
In your case laodct.pro is the relevant file,
but a lot of other GDL functionality depends
from those files as well.
