Driver does not support hardware solid fills

When using contour plot, I got the following warning:

    *** PLPLOT WARNING ***
Driver does not support hardware solid fills, switching to software fill.

Basically the output is not solid fill at all. The problems appear in 'svg', 'ps', 'z' and other write_png etc routines…Any work around for that?

I am using current CVS version and various plplot drivers from ubuntu 11.04. Thanks

FYI, I was using contour with /fill option.

It might be broken only in recent update, as I just found that I have a few contour plot in png format that was made a few months ago. But I can't verify which gdl version I used. Thanks

    You use device,'Z'.
Unfortunately the Z-buffer driver of plplot ("mem" driver) has no solid fill.
You could possibly use an X window instead, making it invisible with the /PIXMAP option.
