I recently installed GDL on my labtop running under Fedora 17. When running my former IDL routines, GDL does well but does not correctly display colour plots. Only white and red lines are displayed instead of real colours. I suppose that this is a configuration problem but did not yet find how to solve it. Any suggestions how to fix it ?

could you try "test_colors" in the testsuite ?
may be related to a alternative initilization of device (device,/true or not)
