we have a request to have being able to handler pointers in SAVE through the CMSVlib.

from very preliminary tests, it seems that the data index are shifted inside the
pointer which is created in CMSV_TEST. Then the comparisons in cmsv_test_comp failed.

    the problem is now clearly located inside "ROUTINE_NAMES(var_name, fetch=)"

    in the special case of CMSVlib, as a temporary patch, you can change
    line 822 in "basic_fun_jmg.cpp" into
    BaseGDL& par = ((EnvT)(callStack[desiredlevnum-1]))->GetPar( xI-1);
    but this is not a general solution.

    I already added a testsuite/test_routine_names.pro
    which clearly exposed the problem.

    corrected by Marc in the CVS ! Thanks.
    Tested within the test code "cmsv_test.pro" in the CMSV lib.
    Tested also on data.
