    You have to install the package gsl first.
    http://www.gnu.org/software/gsl/

    THe list of dependencies is in one of the files in the tar-file.

    This is not a bug but a support request.
    However: You need the GNU Scientific Library installed on
    your system. Please read the README file.
    If its not installed in the standard place (/usr/include or
    /usr/local/include) you need to edit gdl/Makefile.am to add
    the directory in which the gsl directory exists. Then run
    automake in the gdl home directory.
