Ron added ODBC as a supported file access method to trunk, so yes, kinda.
And there is always CALL and finding a dBASE compatible shared library. I assume such a thing exists, but did not look to verify,... Clipper source is open, so I'm assuming...

Oh wow. What a blast from the past. Ashton-Tate dBase and Clipper! Of all the languages I programmed on, I love Clipper Summer 87 the best. Simple. Straight to the point. Almost like the original Python.
