Hi,
GCSORT help (gcsort -help) states that the keytype indicator to use for "Alternative Key with Duplicates" is "D", however checkingscanner.l, we can find :
gcsort -help
scanner.l
/* Key Tye for indexed file P=Primary, A= ALternative, AD = Alternative with duplicates, C = Continue */ KEYTYPE P|A|AD|C
Which one is right ?

Hi David, AD is the correct option for "Alternative Key with Duplicates", D is a typo. I will edit the gcsort help. Thank you. Sauro
Great, thanks ;)
