Mickey will open it up about 1/2 hour before the scheduled time (11:30 am
Eastern U.S. Time) so people can have time to connect. We will start the
content of the meeting at 12:05pm Eastern U.S. time.

I've got a question about "is this recorded for later view". Is it?
The instance at meet.jit.si has this feature enabled in general (but only using DropBox).
If we want to do it (of course only if Sjaak would be ok with the recording), then we may want to record only the demo part (with explicit telling people about that before it starts and when people join).

Simon, quick question. I use gnuCOBOL mostly on my 2 linux boxes (Ubuntu, and Pop!OS (ubuntu distro)) and will test the correct version for them... probably not a problem.
Question: On Windows, I installed Arnold's win64 version. On the CobolWorx page, which do I chose to install, the MSYS2 or the standalone or ? Is there a version with just the DBG 64 option for the already built windows gnucobol session?
Thanks

Do we need to setup the 'meetup' for July 1, 2022? At what time?
Will we record the demo session? Can we submit suggestions or questions or want of examples before the meeting?
Jitsi seems to work ok.
Thoughts?

I think we could record just the parts we need, provided all in agreement.

Those downloads are currently down (already reported to COBOLworx), you can get just the missing pieces when using Arnold's builds (and also the vsix extension if you want to try to use it in vscode) from https://github.com/OlegKunitsyn/gnucobol-debug/issues/123#issuecomment-1144929588 ).
For any linux: I'd personally suggest to build cbl-gdb from source, that's not that hard. Just be sure to use the version that is widely tested:
https://gitlab.cobolworx.com/COBOLworx/cbl-gdb/-/tree/Version4.28
