I'm using the icewm as Window Manager without
GNOME, and my desktop is not so large. So, I want
the gnubiff to be swallowed in the systray of the icewm
without using GNOME applet panel.

The specification of the system tray protocol is proposed
at freedesktop.org, and the systray is supported by
some popular Window Managers, e.g. icewm, xfce4,
blackbox and etc.

I hope gnubiff supports systray.

Gnubiff does not support systray at the moment. We will
probably add this in a future release :-)

It would be great to add this future as fast as possible.... I'm using XFCE/
KDE and I don't like this GTK Tux....
Gnubiff is great (better then KCheckGmail or Mail Notify, less
dependencies, more options) but non-freedesktop.org specification is
    huge problem form me

    greetings

PS. When I get some more free time I will translate Gnubiff into Polish

Gnubiff 2.2.0 has just been released with support for this
feature. I will close this RFE.
