I'm using the Debian packages 1.0.10 version.
If I run it as an app, I can add settings and preferences,
which are saved to .gnubiffrc properly, and restored
on the next launch.
But if I run it as a gnome2 panel applet, the settings
come up clear every time. Is there something I should
When gnubiff is used as an applet, preferences are saved within gnome using gconf. When you log out gnome and login back, gnubiff should be here with same settings as previously. Is it the case ?

preferences management is toasted. I don't know

the "Failed to contact configuration server " error)
or whether it's the session management.
Thank you for your quick and effective reply.
