#60 gnubiff doesn't modify .gnubiffrc

System Fedora 23, x86_64,
I tried to configure gnubiff-2.2.16 and found that the configuration isn't saved to .gnubiffrc. The reason seems to be that Options::value_gchar returns a char pointer to a temporary string, that might not be valid when the pointer ist used. (At least I replaced the value_gchar calls, (patch attached) and the problem and a similar one with the geometry string disappeared.)

gnubiff 2.2.17 has been released. The bug should be fixed now.

I certainly cannot reproduce in Ubuntu bionic. Please close the ticket.
