Todor, it might be useful to register to the wiki and try to monitor pages, so you get notifications for changes. I'm not sure this will work, since SF is quite restrictive with outgoing traffic, but it's worth trying.

Yep, I see it, thank you very much. I looked at the posts in the Developers Forum and noticed that the last action post is from 2011-09-06 - is this correct? Do you intend to post a new thread about what you want to do for the new plugin implementation?
I started working on a patch, which will add a preferences page for the plugin. There a user will be able to create partial project configurations akin to the New Project Wizard (specifically toolchain settings tab), and then save it under a particular name. Then another wizard page for the New Project Wizard will be added right after the project type, where a user will be able to select either the usual path as it is now, or one of the previously created configs, which will be then spliced into the MBS project wizard. This way, I could create a configuration for a specific development board (i.e. STM32F4DISCOVERY, or LPCXRPESSO1769, or mbed, etc.) with or without specific libraries, include and library paths and so on, and wouldn't have to enter everything with every new projects.
But as you can imagine, at this point the patch is targeted at the current development in SVN. I am also willing to help with development of the new implementation, if you need any help and provide more info on what your plan is and assign a specific task…

that's correct.
I closed public access to the forums to force bug reports and feature requests to go to their proper tracker, and keep the forum only for developer discussions.

I suggest you open separate threads in the forum for each idea or functionality you are working on, or are interested in.
once the ideas are clear, we can register them to the features requests tracker and close them when implemented.
