Did you see the message regarding the outdated web pages? I think he is very right :-(
I was thinking to update the web pages, but maintaining the existing pages is way too tedious.
I have several proposals:
- to move most of the project pages to new places, easier to maintain.
for this I enabled the project MediaWiki, WordPress and phpWebSite.
I started with WordPress, since I already use WordPress for my other blogs and I'm quite happy with it. unfortunately the features available on SF are limited, and, at least for our project, I'm afraid are of little use now.
Then I played with MediaWiki, and already added some pages, based on the README content.
I also tried to use phpWebSite; it seems full of features, but I'm not that happy with the look, somehow childish in my opinion.
From all three, I think the Wiki is the most useful.
- to redesign the main web page and basically redirect to the wiki
What do you think about this?
Regards,
Liviu

updating the web page was on my todo list too.
I neved worked with phpWebSite. I tried Wordpress but it is long time ago. So I think MediaWiki is the best choice to keep an updated web page.
Due to the fact that the page does not contain any use full information for the current plug in, we could delete it and follow your suggestion to redirect to the wiki mainpage.

Wilfried

- link to the sourceforge net site (maybee an introduction text: Welcome, you can download the plugin from "link" and will get help from …
- some hints how to install
- links to eclipse/cdt
- maybee a list of planed/wanted features
As you said we will add content when we have further information oder development states.

ok, we'll first proceed with MediaWiki and then redirect the home page.
I would add some screenshots. what else do you think we'll need there to make it ready? (well, it'll never be perfect, but at least minimally ready).
of course you can directly contribute to the Wiki, if you have time.

I think links to the supported toolchains would be a good idea too.

there is one in the Installation page, you mean one in another page? where?
> some hints how to install
minimal info is already there. did you see the existing Wiki?
Liviu
Yes I had a look on it, looks good.
Currently I have nothing in mind that should be added.
