Alpha version 0.0.13 is ready for download.

The documentation of the project was updated. This new one release recently covers the subjects developed and some corrections to already written.

The alpha version 0.0.12 already is available and includes among other things the server gm_squeue for the SAF administration (Store & Forward) that offers the services of queued messages.

The alpha version 0.0.11 incorporates among other things a timers server, a buffers server and interactive message type. The long time passed from completes update is compensated partly with the great changes that have become in the project of Monitor. Even they are left several modules to develop before being able to pass to the first beta version but in this new one time in improvements as far as stability release in addition to the developed modules. In advance they were made releases most frequently and I hope to be able to have the first beta version for 2006 ends. The documentation also was extended and I hope that of some utility at the time of facing a project that uses the Gnu-Monitor system.

The alpha version 0.0.10 incorporates among other things the transaccional control. Finally already we can say that one is a transaccional monitor. This new version of development comes with a server that solves the services necessary to implement the transaccional control. Change the way of access to the configuration that now is to travez of shared memory what the times of consultation diminish. I update the documentation with information of the new services.

Version 0.0.9 incorporates the use of script forms that it allows to adapt the configuration and the parameters of compilation to different platforms.

The alpha version 0.0.8 already is available with new corrected functionalities and bugs, in addition to a total reorganization of the tree of distribution and the format of documentation.

In this new one it as much release the interfaces of the client as the one of the server they are object oriented. In order to diminish the retardations in the resolution of consultations one implemented an own data base with text files and a ojeto to administer it. The messages of subscription and unsubscription to events on the part of the server were implemented, reason why no longer it is necessary to parametrizar this. The connection to travez of inetd was implemented. They were created logs specific for the server application. The examples and the documentation are updated.

For this new release became the necessary modifications in main module so that it can be used with inetd or xinetd. Also I modify the structure of directories of all the project to simplify to its compilation and installation by modules.

I finished something of documentacién of the project and or it is possible to be lowered to be reading, enough lack but includes the descriptions and examples of which or it is implemented.

EI am working at the moment in version 0.0.5 and I have already corrected some bugs, mainly of the installation. At the moment I am using the monitor in my house to propagate the state of the UPS and that all the servers can be shuted down in correct form in case of prolonged cut of energy, it is that in Argentina each as much we remained without light.

The change is mainly in the communication between the monitor module and the queues, in addition examples were added and corrected a pile of bugs. The documentation comes…

The makefiles were added to compile the different modules and to install them. The use of bookstores for the client and the servants is gotten up. Script of creation of the data base creates two servants of example who execute through monitor commands of the system.

The package consists of the basic group of applications of the monitor that are: listener (gmd), the monitor (GMT), the administrator of server (gmq) and an application that the only message continuously emulates to the client sending that is implemented until the moment (gmc)

In just a short time the sources of the first modules will be available. There is much work to do, but the time he is little.
