Where are the install images for Darwin 1.0 x86? All I see on the download page is a 2.5 beta that has been around since 3/11/02. I am a complete newbie to this distro, so sorry if my question sounds unintelligent. :)

There is a new version of Darwin-6 in the works, which will eventuatlly be part of GNU-Darwin 1.0. In the meantime, the x86 beta is Darwin-1.4.1, time tested, and rock stable. It should be considered as part of GNU-Darwin 1.0 for the present. We probably won't be remarking it.
We have taken the packages and software distribution system out of beta, which is the primary reason for the 1.0 revision. In addition, the items on the ordering page should be considered as part of the 1.0 revision, and we will be releasing CDRs with the 1.0 mark soon.
