Hi all,
new at this so bear with me... I performed the one-step install for OS X 10.1 and at the end my xDarwin wouldn't start up, so I reinstalled it and now it loads. The problem is that it gives me an error that the applications menu could not be loaded.
Here is the output from the terminal:
[lassch:~] root# startx -- -quartz
Running in parallel with Mac OS X Quartz window server.

for some reason there is nothing in my console log?
Also I am logged in as root when I tried to run this (if that makes a difference)

We have not yet taken the time to remove this message for Darwin, but it is not relavent to the Darwin installation, and it should be ignored. Abiword is expected to work fine without path modifications.

Also I remembered when I installed by using:
curl http://gnu-darwin.sourceforge.net/one_stop | csh
It gave me an error that said I needed to modify a file
You must add the ${PREFIX}/AbiSuite/fonts directory to your X server's
font path. For XFree86, add the line:
FontPath "${PREFIX}/AbiSuite/fonts/"
in the "Files" section of your /etc/XF86Config file.
If you use a different X server, please see its documentation on how to do
this.
Then re-start your X server.
I don't know if this is need, but when I tried to look for it I couldn't find it anywhere in my /etc directory...?
