You'll notice that we have finally started moving files from our local CVS repository to sourceforge. Hopefully, I've cleaned things up enough for browsing. We need to get a reference application out of our local repository. It's not great yet ... but it's definately a sign that we HAVE been working on this. Look for a reference app to be available soon. I would avoid making use of the class files at this time, the structure is still in a considerable state of flux. However, we are gearing up to invite those that have expressed interest into the project as soon as we have a standalone reference application published. I develop using Forte on Tomcat 4.0.1 and Java 1.3.1, everything is tested on this basis. I'll publish some coding standards soon as well, in brief, it should look like what's in CVS right now, bracketing on new lines, 2 space tabs, etc. The variable naming convention is open to discussion. Stay tuned!
The Gnowledge Base project is underway. Currently, we are sorting out and recategorizing what will be the basis for the source code. We want to release the first build before inviting the community at large to contribute. The reason is to establish a methodology for adding/modifying code. Expect some public files to start appearing in the first week of August 2001.
