ok, i have set everything up correctly, this time a
re-made the gnomesword v.0.7.1, now i ran gnomesword
from the console and this is what it said on startup:

there is alot more but dont feel i need to paste them.
the real problem is gnomesword crashes when clicking on
any of the hyperlinks that are the verse numbers,
crashes when selecting any bible/fav/history from the
shortcut bar, and crashes when i select anything from
the bookmarks? is their a solution or am i doing
something wrong? thanx for the help, and thanx for
bringing bible study to the gnome desktop :)

have you run 'make install' it sounds like gnomesword cannot
find all the needed files. also looks like you were running
as root.
