Hi..I tried to use the new version of GnomeBaker
(0.6)..on my system* where I have a
DVDrom device (/dev/hdc - HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR 8163B)
and one
CD-Writer (/dev/hdd - HL-DT-STCD-RW GCE-8240B)
In the preferences windows, devices are correctly
detected but when I try to blank a cd-rw or when i try
to burn a data CD or Audio CD the program always use
dvdrom device..
Explain better
- launch gnomebaker
- new DataCD project (or AudioCD)
- add some files
- press BURN
- in the CREATE DataCD windows, appears options
available and here the only device present under WRITER
section is the cd-writer (I suppose this is correct
because is the only device that can be write a cd...:-)
- press START... appears a windows that say "Please
insert a disk into the HL-DT-STDVD-ROM GDR8163B"...
and obviously the writing of cdrw fails...

Andrea
