I'm one of the developers of gmmusic. It's a music collection management system for Gnome written in Perl using Gtk-Perl.
Now we have a problem with the pixmaps and help files for our package. If they are installed outside of the installation path of Gnome, e.g. /usr/local, Gnome can't find them.
Is there any possibility to force Gnome to look in other directories?
Bye,
Manfred

Changing PWD to / might help with pixmaps, running your prg with strace -eopen might give some hints.
