I want a rpm package and I find gnochm-0.9.11-1fc5.src.rpm and gnochm-0.9.11-1fc5.noarch.rpm, but what does "1fc5" mean here?
the version of the package is 0.9.11, the -1 is (if I recall correctly) the build number for that rpm package, and fc5 is the distribuition - in this case, fedora core 5.
