The MythTV source plug-in was added at the GStreamer's gst-plugins-bad
repository. In order to help to maintain this plug-in, you can take a look

Nowadays, the plug-in is working fine, and most of the comments on
GStreamer's bugzilla are just to fix some plug-in's code organization (debug
messages, identation, GOTO usage, etc.)
