#25 can't stop gmusicbrowser from scanning

I added a ton of new files over a network to the library in gmusicbrowser, which worked fine... until it determined that there were no VBR tags ( or something like that. ) Then it popped up a message that it was then going to rescan most of those files, and started scanning. ( There was no option to tell it to stop. ) It's now scanning the network continuously at 5M, and raising the CPU processing substantially. The VPN won't stay active through the scanning and CPU usage is substantial enough that it may have redlined the system and forced a hard boot.

I really don't care about bit rates. If it figured this out one song at a time, as I played them, it would be fine. But this secondary feature is making life more difficult than it needs to be, and now that I've closed the dialog ( because that was my only option ), I have no idea when it will stop...
