When I use gphoto2 (via PTP) to copy my photos and videos off my phone, the computer copy retains the original time/date stamp. But gmtp's download function doesn't do this. It would be very helpful to have it retain the time/date information.
PS. Building gmtp on Fedora 21 was super-easy. You can definitely add "Fedora" to your list of distros that work.
