Thanks for the efforts in developing Jbrowse.
Please I use  BioRuby for the bulk of my work, At the moment i would like to
embed a jbrowse viewer on a web page for a particular project I am are
working on.  Is there a pure Javascript Jbrowser library/ plugin that i can
use for visualizing GFF files?

Do I have to install bioperl? Are there plans to make Jbrowse bio-language
agnostic?
