I can say for myself that I will give you as much time as I can when I'm not writing other code for Cold Spring Harbor. They pay my salary, after all. :-) As for the rest of the GMOD team, we're pretty spread out, both geographically and in terms of our projects and interests, but everyone seems pretty helpful. Perhaps you should consider joining one (or more) of the GMOD mailing lists. I think you've opened quite the can of worms with the microarray db question. I believe quite a bit of effort is being put into the Chado project to support microarrays.
