    Hello,

Very nice work on this frontend!  I like it very much!  I was wondering why autosave doesn't appear to be working?  You know what I mean, mame is capable of automatically saving the last state of each game and auto loading to the last state when the ROM is started.

I modified my /etc/sdlmame/mame.ini but it doesn't seem to take effect while using gmameui.  Any suggestions?  Or perhaps you can add support for it.  Thanks very much!!

I haven't added autosave support to GMAMEUI yet. I'll add this as a bug to fix in the next release.

Andrew, I just installed 0.2.7 and save states are still not working.

Can you confirm that you enabled the 'Automatically Save and Load State' option in the Miscellaneous section in the Default Options?

What is the command line string that is generated for SDLMame when you run GMAMEUI from the command line?

oops!  It's working now.  Can I help you implement the options "per game" functionality?  "* With the new Options dialog, per-game options are not yet implemented"  What does that mean?  Thanks for such great work on this frontend!!

Per-game options would allow the user to set specific options for specific ROMs, but have a general options configuration.

I'm still working through how this would actually work in practice.

That would be a really nice feature.  I used that a lot in Windows, like in Mame32 and EmuLoader.  There are currently no SDLMAME frontends in Linux that can do this.
