#25 GTK errors

I get a bunch of gtk errors on startup and I cannot open the "browse" windows to set the paths in the option menu.
Strangely, "Add" button works for mame executable and ROMs path, but not for samples. Pressing "Remove" under samples opens the browser (but does not set the path).
I am attaching console error messages given upon startup and upon opening the "directories" window. No error is produced by pressing on "add" or "browse".
I am running Arch_x86_64 and installed gmameui compiling from source through AUR

I don't know what version (or whether it is up to date with current CVS) is being distributed via AUR. Can you see whether this occurs with CVS, as I don't experience this problem.

    GTK errors noted are harmless.

Yeah, sorry about that, I forgot to mention that AUR has 0.2.12.
I've just tried using the CVS version and it's actually worse because it segfaults immediately. I have now recompiled enabling debug messages and I am attaching the error messages + gdb backtrace. I hope I did it right as it's my first attempt at backtracing with gdb... :)

Thanks for the stacktrace - just what I needed. I've updated CVS with a fix - sorry about the inconvenience as this was a silly oversight on my part.

I'll leave the bug report open, to see whether you're still getting the original issues with CVS version.

Well, I still get the segfault, unless I enable debug messages! I am attaching a new backtrace, although with debug messages disabled.
Anyway, when I enable debug messages the program works and all the browsing windows under "mame main paths" load correctly, however those under "mame paths" and "mame support files" do not.

I later updated through cvs and the problem is gone. I have other issues now, but they are minor and I regard them as normal during the development process. Looking forward to 0.2.13!

Well, I still have the same problem here under Ubuntu, using .deb or compiling the 0.2.12...
