Does anybody has the same problems that the icons changed to something generic and not the OSX icons as it was installed with?
Any idea how to set them back?

I had a weird startup where I had generic Ubuntu icons for the dock and no mouse cursor. I rebooted and then it came up fine after that.
Are you still having the issue?
