version 0.20 released

There is now detailed documentation included in the form of a GNOME help entry. Access help by right clicking on the
applet and selecting `Help.' The applet is now sensitive to different panel background types, including background pixmaps. Image quality has drastically
improved due to conversion of the rendering routines from Imlib to GdkPixbuf. Also, on screen sizes with a height less than 768 pixels the moon data box
automatically chooses a 4x4 format which fits better on small screens. The deb was compiled against the latest Helix GNOME version 1.2.8,and the rpm on
Red Hat 7.0 with Helix, so if you're on a pure Debian potato (i.e. GNOME version 1.01 or so) or an older Red Hat system, you'll need to build your own deb,
rpm or binary from the source

version 0.12 released

There's a bug fix for the case where the moon doesn't rise or set on a particular day, and the moon image is now
automatically rescaled according to panel size. You need a current version (>= 1.2) of GNOME for resizing to work. The deb was compiled against Helix GNOME version 1.2.8, and the rpm on Red Hat 7.0 with Helix, so if you're on a pure Debian potato (i.e. GNOME version 1.01 or so) or an older Red Hat system, you'll need to build your own deb, rpm or binary from the source

version 0.11 released

Version 0.11 contains two important bug fixes for displaying the moon properly. If you use the cartoon moon image, you'll need to reset the image name and numer of frames in the properties box after installing the new version. A deb and a rpm as well as the source are available.
