#6 get_viewport_area disrespects subwindow visibility

Hi,

my application hides and shows subwindows on pressing
F12. Using auto_set_viewport results in
get_viewport_area getting called which does not test for
the subwindow visibility. The resulting viewport is too
small and wastes the space occupied by the subwindows
previously.
