I can understand development is being heavily concentrated on what is on hand, namely Mac platforms, but would there be any interest in direct support of a Android build? As is there are many "games" ported to the Android platform that are either charging for GLTron or plastering Ads on GLTron to generate income. If there is a particular build already directly supported on the Google Play store, it'd be much appreciated to have a link to it.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Porting the changes in the code base again to Java is not really feasible, the only way to maintain a port would be through the NDK. However, I lack the NDK expertise to do so. If someone would make a preliminary port, I could incorporate the changes back into the main codebase to make future updates easier.

The "official port" is a Java conversion of the 0.70 codebase by Iain Churcher. The source code is at https://github.com/Chluverman/android-gltron, thus being GPL compliant, and the playstore version is at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glTron, this version is free and doesn't contain ads.
