Hey Michael, Looks like a MySQL / DBD::Mysql DBI version issue. What versions are you running of those? What OS are you on? Hello Andrew, First of all, thank you for sharing your tool with all of us. I do too deal with a lot of BladeCenters and am using some home-made short scripts to query them using SNMP, but results are not that presentable to other people. And when I saw glovebox announcement on freshmeat, it immediately caught my attention. It took me awhile to get to it, and there were a couple of bumps in installation process (if you'd be interested, I can provide more details), but now when I started really testing it, I ran into a couple of issues. And I was wondering if you could point me in right direction in solving them? Just in case, very short description: after adding new container (MM) nothing appears under BladeCenters on the left (although MM's SN got into DB, but that's it), and there are interesting messages in httpd's error_log: 1. DBD::mysql::db do failed: There is no 'root'@'localhost' registered at ../../modules/Glovebox/Shared/DevLib.pm line 329., referer: http://localhost/glovebox/index.shtml (Connection.pm has right settings for DB access) 2. 'add' operation failed, I could not execute user defined class (Glovebox::Interface::Bladecenter) for interface type 'bladecenters', get_properties_by_enclosure_id: No id provided. at ../../modules/Glovebox/Shared/DevLib.pm line 99., referer: http://localhost/glovebox/index.shtml (enclosure_id in table devices in DB has NULL in it) I'd appreciate if you'll find time to help me out. Please let me know, if more info needed. Again, thanks for your tool. Sincerely, Michael |
