Yes! It can communicate with every PC/SC reader. I cannot imagine that 
it has no PC/SC driver.

Yes. But it should be enabled automatically.

card_connect -reader [Reader Name] // Connect to card in the reader
card_connect -readerNumber [Reader Number x] // Connect to card in the

Just some some other tool, maybe you have a diagnostic tool, to see if 
the reader works. Is it installed under hardware devices?

Forget OpenPlatform, JOpenPlatform. Use only the

PC/SC.

You can isntall CAP files, yes. Most commonly Java Cards are used. I 
don't know of another system.
