GLOBALBASE is a client server system for sharing geographical information. The client works as a kind of geo-browser like Google Earth. It provides overlaying many public layers on the servers which provide special protocol to transfer huge images like the whole world satellite images (NOAA Geosage etc.).

Now Osaka City University GLOBALBASE site provides some satellite photographs, city name layers and some area maps etc.... read more
