#37 Prevents LyX clipboard from working

Description of problem:
If I have Glipper running at the same time as LyX, even selecting text in LyX
doesn't work, meaning that cutting/copying and pasting is impossible.
If I use another clipboard manager, such as parcellite, there's no problem with
text selection in LyX.
I saw an Ubuntu bug report:

but it wasn't verified.
This happens with Lyx 1.6.1-1

How reproducible:
Every time
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Activate Glipper
2. Start LyX
3. Try selecting some text in LyX
Actual results:
Unable to select text in LyX
Expected results:
Text selection should work normally
