#5 Starting without root user

I type glest into the linux shell and it displays "Exception: Couldn't set video mode 1600x1200 (32bpp 0 stencil 16 depth-buffer). SDL Error is: No video mode large enough for 1600x1200" but when I do the same in root is runs.

My resolution is 1024x768. The background picture is the "Default openSUSE (1600x1200)". Not sure if this could be the problem.
