You will need SDL_image library. See www.libsdl.org - libraries section.

Yes, SDL 1.2.1, but it is the SDL_image which you need. I should have
added these new dependencies to CHANGES & README. Sorry about this.

Does anyone else have this problem? It could have been temporary
problem with sourceforge; I've had lot of those. Try again during
few days and let me know if the problem remains.
