#5 Joystick and "not on top" problems

I am obviously missing something very basic, but i am unable to use my usb joystick to control glaunch. Is there something I must change in the glaunch.cfg to enable it?

I have successfully configured glaunch to launch any/all of my games but I have a problem getting zsnesw, project64, and epsxe to not get covered with a black screen. I hear the music for all of the above, but I cant see the game.

I am very close to completing my first mame cabinet and this is the only missing piece of the puzzle so if are able to assist me quickly, I would greatly appreciate it!
