When i edit the config for zsnes and i set scan files in rom dir to yes i cant use the .ram file i created. So you only see the file names.
f i check the rom file to yes it all looks good but i cant load a game(it shows the names inputted in the snes.ram file )
The emu says error opening file. I dont know if this is a bug but it is sure annoing. It work s fine when there are no spaces in the file name.
The .ram file is in fact the map file. It works fine with callus but i cant get it to work with zsnes using the map file.

Man, I thought this stupid system was supposed to email me
bug reports. I haven't looked at this page in ages.
Anyhow, I'm not sure what you mean by .ram file. Can you
post your zsnes.cfg file that breaks?

If I understand this bug correctly, I am seeing the same
thing. I am running the atari 7800 emulator and it works
fine if I set use rome file equal to "no". If I set this
option to "yes", create a rom file and a map file, then the
emulator fails to start and returns to the game launcher
menu screen. I have the runit.log (Both when 7800 worked
and failed) as well as glaunch.cfg, 7800.cfg, 7800.rom and
7800.map, shall I submit these? By the way, you have by far
the best universal front-end for a Cabinet set-up. Thanks,
Mike.

It looks like you can only post one file on this thing.
Send me those files in a private email.
Also, one other thing to try is this. Instead of running
"glaunch.exe", run "_gl32.exe 0xdead 0xbeef" and select a
game. It should quit out right away and a file named
"runit.bat" should exist. This is the file that gets run to
launch the emulator. Take a look at it and see if anything
looks funny.

Version 0.9.7 fixes a few bugs related to .map files. For
those that can reproduce this, please le me know if it is
fixed in v0.9.7.

What happens is the following. When the 'use rom file' set
to 'yes' glaunch adds a '.' before the rom name for some
mysterious reason. (as substitute for the now non existing
rompath?)
So f.i. it launches 'mame.exe .galaga' which of course
doesn't work.
Unfortunately this makes the whole rom file method unusable,
which is a pity because it's very powerful.
