[GCR-Dev] Updates - DB, Logo, No PHP

Hi,

Updates for today [1]:

We have done DB design for the project. You can review it here [2].

Have also got a basic delegate registration page done in Laszlo. Still
need to hook it up with the backend. It=92s done with tabsliders
(accordian).

Got the logo and splash screens done. They look quite neat!

Read some bad reviews about OpenLaszlo  I hope we don=92t face too much o=
f a
problem. Our Flash experience says that Flash will throw a bouncer at you
every now and then, hope we get less of that in OpenLazlo.

OpenLaszlo is still using Flash version 6 output. So no file upload
support. Need to figure out what can be done for that. Mostly will have t=
o
open a new window and manage it from there. Or find some AJAXian cross
browser method.

We will have to build the backend in Mono and not PHP! Don=92t have enoug=
h
resources free in the organization to do PHP work. So we will be doing th=
e
web services backend in C#/Mono for now. PHP will come in the next
version!
