Hi Tamara, It's been a long time since I worked on gl4java so I'm affraid I can't really help you out with the bug you've encountered. I just wanted to reinforce Ken's statement on switching to jogl. As far as I know jogl still doesn't support calls to glMakeCurrent. What it does support and has for some time now is manual control of the buffer swap.
