for gl4java 2.8.x i have created a framework that hides the Apple internal functions that gl4java needs to use. what this means is that once i'm done with 2.8.x (soon) you guys do not have to depend on me to compile gl4java. you will be able to compile it for yourself, and in fact even update it to new versions without me from now on ;-)

the last missing piece is me merging my code with the official gl4java TOT at sourceforge.

once that is done you guys can be on your own :-)
