[gl4java-usergroup] oh no!

ok, i found why the access control settings werent right...

in C:/jdk1.3.0_02/jre/lib/security/java.security , i changed one of the
lines to the following :

policy.url.1=file://C:/jdk1.3.0_02/jre/lib/security/java.policy


my java.home variable wasnt set right...


but now , when i try to do the java 1.3 plugin installation , the applet
begins to load ok .... then OH NO!
i get that dreaded "c:/windows/command.com" ms-dos window , which causes an
illegal exception ,
and causes the entire computer to crash!

do you think i should now try the beta jdk 1.3.1 ???

i dont think it will have much of a difference, especially if sun say that
1.3.0_02 is SUPPOSED to work with win ME
