ok - you have no function like this, but GL4Java uses the dlopen way ..
fine !
(BTW: glXGetProcAddress is implemented within XFree86 4.0 + DRI) !

Puhh .. I just tried it by myself:
	Linux, Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.0),
	Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.0, mixed mode)

and I have the same error ..

Well, I just installed on www.jausoft.com/gl4java
all demos with the java2 plugin and they do run well with
the given java.policy add on ...

any help is welcome
