The sources are super-fine :-) !
Must be a bug within the WinZip thing ... do not use it :-) !
Get yourself cygwin32 instead ( http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin/ ),
it is the complete unix environment under Win32 (with a bash, gunzip, tar, 
.... ) !!!

Well, just to answer your last questions,
the ".AppleDouble" directories are just created by my apple-talk server 
running under linux :-)

I guess, I have answered the back- & front-buffer bug question allready.
The result is, that some apple OpenGL drivers are buggy !
Don't you remember ? I send you a test file ...
