now, my ie doesn't crash anymore but I guess it's a gl4java specific problem? When I switch back to gl_render mode I get the number of hits. So this works but when I look up the information about the hits in my selectionbuffer, I see it's empty! (with netscape not)

it's getting weirder every day :-)
