I understand that as of Win2K GL is frozen forever at 1.1 and the _only_ way to get anything done is to provide ICD's, and that the SGI OpenGL code can't "SEE" most ICD's due to "registry changes". My friends still in the games industry tell me almost all of the IHV's have accepted this, and everyone is migrating to a manual load strategy. I've been hoping gl4java would insulate me from this issue... |
